Mary Reich is privileged as the elder in the group, she sits on the floor much of the time now. Fast intelligent recklessness is no longer in her repertoire. Perceptional changes instead are played with by uncategorizing everything she is seeing and thinking, disrupting everything she thinks she knows which then occupies her body in new experiences. She marinates in the music of Kris and Blair and the mirror neurons fire up in her by being in the room with movement although the function of that is unclear. Sometimes she shows up. Sometimes she doesn’t. Currently, she sits her dancing and often can be seen falling through love with the members of the group.

Karen Schaffman is a life-long dancer. Her research explores sensorial perception, memory, and the politics of transgression. Karen is interested in witnessing bodies, both everyday and spectacular, in curious states of investigation. She pursues paradox and the agency of vulnerability as means to disrupt cultural norms of performativity.
